The occupations across all of Express Entry's category-based selection categories, announced 18 February 2026. A category-based round invites candidates with at least 12 months of full-time experience in one of these occupations, gained in the past 3 years. The union of nine occupation categories is listed here; three of them — physicians, senior managers and researchers — additionally require that the experience be Canadian. A tenth category, French-language proficiency, has no occupation list at all: it turns on a minimum score of 7 in all four abilities on the Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens.
Being on this list does not by itself make you eligible. Salary floors, qualification recognition and — on most routes — an employer still apply.
