The Core Skills Occupation List, specified by the Migration (Specification of Occupations — Subclass 482 Visa) Instrument 2024 (LIN 24/089), as in force 7 November 2025. It governs the Core Skills stream of the Skills in Demand visa and is built from Jobs and Skills Australia's labour-market analysis. Most entries carry an 'applicable circumstance' in the instrument that narrows who may be nominated.
